BILLET .308 LOWER RECEIVERS
Armalite Compatible made by SMF Tactical, Inc. - Precision machined in house from billet 7075 T6 aluminum. Our .308 AR receiver selection offers the ability to pair with either Armalite® AR-10 or DPMS® patterned uppers. Our receivers incorporate machined in tear drop triggers, reinforced pivot pin holes and generous magazine wells to aid in rapid reloads while under stress.
The AR-10 receiver is an Armalite compatible product also known as Armalite B which accepts only Armalite magazines and Armalite lower parts kit.
The SMF Tac 10 is Armalite A compatible and accepts standard .308 lower parts kits, and accepts SR-25/M110/DPMS pattern magazines such as the popular Magpul® P-Mags in .308 and Larue® magazines.
80% Lower Operations Left to be Completed Include:
Fire control group pocket, Trigger pin hole, Hammer pin hole, Triger clearance slot and Safety selector hole.
This is not an FFL item.
This is not a complete receiver and still requires additional machining work to be functional.
We have a copy of our BATFE determination letter stating this isn’t a firearm and is not regulated as such.

Finally a high quality 80 worthy of top line uppers
I have spent lots of time and money trying to find a non-dpms 80 lower that not only fits uppers like my larue 7.62, but has the quality to match. If you are looking for an M110 style lower that’s worthy of a high end build, this is it. Period. These guys did an awesome job. I usually don’t write reviews, but the TAC-10 was so impressive that more people need to be aware of this product.

For the SMF-TAC-10 Armalite A pattern
If you have an Armalite A pattern upper receiver this is a great option to go with. There were a few minor issues I came across. The design from this has what looks like little fins that stick out just above the trigger well, and a beveled area just above where the selector would go. This made it to where I had to cut into my jig in those spots to make it fit into it. I knew that I would be able to modify my jig to get it to fit, but if you don't have a jig and need to get one it would be wise to e-mail them and find out what jig works best with this lower receiver. The only other minor issue I had is that the pin holes on the Armalite A pattern upper receiver will need to be drilled out just a little bit over, because this design uses the DPMS Lower parts kit. Aside from that this is a great product to go with
