- Our handguards are made to fit most barrels and are the best ergonomic, weightless free-float hand guards on the market without sacrificing strength or structural integrity.
- Our handguard takes advantage of the new industry standard M-Lok mounting systems. They fit the current DPMS spec receivers.
- Incredibly lightweight - Extremely solid lock up Monolithic type continuous MIL-STD 1913 top rail, T-marked for accessory location, light, rugged construction from T-6 6061 aluminum, hard coat anodized, Mil-Spec Picatinny.
- Our handguard has a continuous Top Rail Mil-Spec Picatinny on Front Bottom Rail Mounting Point, Type III Hard Coat Anodized “Fits High Profile” upper receiver has a 3/16” wide top portion where the charging handle is installed.

.308 M-Lok 20" upper
Bought and installed this handguard on a 6.5 Creedmor build. The included stainless steel barrel nut is machined very nicely. The fact that it includes the nut wrench with a 1/2' square drive for your torque wrench is a real nice touch. No need to buy any additional components. At first, the weight of the handguard (or lack thereof) made me think that it was going to allow for flex once the heavy 24" stainless bull barrel was resting on the bench with a bipod. That was quickly dismissed on it's first range trip, shooting an average of .650" groups at 100 yards during barrel break-in. If there were any funky harmonics being introduced into the system, this would not be achievable. System performance was further confirmed after load work-up and achieving 4.5" 5-shot groups at 1000 yards. So happy with the way this handguard looks and performs that I've ordered a second one for my .308 build. As a side note, the staff at SMF has been very helpful and friendly every time I call in with any questions. Highly recommend.
