This 7 Position Carbine Buffer Tube will fit all AR Platforms (.308, AR-15, 9MM). 4 1/4" longer than a standard carbine buffer tube. 1 1/2" longer than a rifle buffer tube. Upgrade your standard carbine buffer tube and replace it with our Extended 7 Position Carbine Buffer Tube.
Sold separately or with our .308 Extended Carbine Buffer Tube Kit.
The Extended Reach 7 Position Buffer Tube gives you over 4 1/4" of additional length compared to a standard mil-spec carbine buffer tube. Check out our Mid-Length Buffer tube that is approximately 2" shorter.

Long buffer tube
This tube is outstanding! Great for bigger guys with longer arms. Fits like a glove with a hogue buttstock. Gonna piece together another AR and will be picking up another one! Thanks Meri, Bill and the rest of the team!

Does the job. Needs modification for some stocks.
This thing is super long and I love it! Will make shooting more comfortable for me as I'm really long. However, I noticed my Hogue buttstock was too tight-fitting on it to function properly. I suspect this is due to the rough machining process used for this tube. It's not smooth like your standard buffer tube. I had to actually sand this thing down to the raw aluminum and use aeroshell grease in order for my Hogue buttstock to work. Now, Hogue stocks are notoriously tight and sturdy so other stocks may be better off, but just keep that in mind.

Extended receiver for AR15
well made, easy to install, bought two liked them so much ordered another one. made shooting AR more comfortable. I have long arms and so does my son inlaw.

Extended Reach -7 Position Receiver Extension
Functionally this thing is perfect. When I set out googling, this is exactly what I was looking for. Cosmetically, for me it leaves a little to be desired. The lines on the surface look like they are intentional but to me the look like machine marks. I also would say the anodizing is a few steps below the quality of Aero, but not bad - just not the deep black that I like. Build quality seems good, seems a little thicker walled than milspec and pretty heavy, but not a big deal. If not for those lines I'd have already ordered 2-3 more.

Extended reach buffer tube.
SOoooo many people claim you do not need a buffer tube any longer than an A2. Maybe I have arms like an orang-utan, or a large head, but i dislike trying to shoot all scrunched up and with the charging handle inserted in my right nostril. Now I do not have to do either. Put my lower together over the weekend and it's awesome. A rifle that actually fits me!!!!!!!!
